Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!! I attended the after Christmas sales yesterday, many of the small presents that I bought is now on sale....go figure. I think next year the kids and I will wait to buy until after Christmas.

LAYOUT AND CARD CONTEST- YOU MUST ENTER

LAYOUT RULES
1.Must be 1 – 12x12 page
2.In the layout the following must be used:
-Patterned Paper
-Cardstock
-Ribbon
-3 Embellishments
3.Any theme can be used.
4.Supply list must be included, with name, address, phone # and supplies used.
CARD CONTEST RULES
1.Finished size is 5 ½ x 4 ¼
2.Card must use Cardstock and a minimum of two layers with embellishment. A Sentiment located on the inside or the front.
3.Theme is using different techniques
- Some examples of these could be, but not limited too (Alcohol Inks, Shaving Crème, Distressing, Pearl EX Powders, Dry or Heat Embossing)
4. Supply list must be included with name, address, phone # and supplies used and explanation of technique.
Layouts/cards will be displayed within the store for judging. Judges will be customers of the store. Contest deadline for submission is December 31st. Judging deadline is January 8th; contest winners will be notified by January 9th.
Orginal layouts will be returned, please provide a colored copy for the store.
Layouts/Cards can be dropped off at Memories Scrap N Stamp or mailed to Memories Scrap N Stamp, 165 N Iowa, Dodgeville, WI 53533

NEW NEW - TRADING CARD SWAP
1. Monthly Swap due 15th of each month, sign-up deadline is 10th of each month.
2. Theme will be either two complimentary colors with embellishments.
3. Limit will be 12 people.
4. When the signup is closed we will notify each of the participants by phone or e-mail of the number of cards needed, this number will include an extra card for the store.
5. All cards need to be in individual bags (zip-loc baggies work great), with your name and a phone number or e-mail address. This way if someone has a question about a card they can contact the maker directly.
6. Please deliver all swaps to Memories Scrap N Stamp 165 N Iowa Street, Dodgeville, WI 53533.

BRIDAL/BABY SHOWERS
Don’t know what to give that someone special for a shower gift? Let us help you organize a shower where everyone will create that special scrapbook page. This is a great gift for a new mom or bride to be, all they have to do is insert their pictures for a lifetime of memories.
Included in the cost is 2 hours of instruction, an idea list of layouts, 12x12 album of your choice, 4 pre-made layouts, and supplies to create 16 additional layouts. Don’t have all the tools to do this? You can use what the store has or bring your own. You don’t need to worry about not being creative we can help you with ideas!
Cost is $15.00/person
KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Parents are you struggling with what do for that birthday party? Get the kids started into scrap booking with their favorite pictures, whether it be friends, pets, school, sports or their favorite hobby. We will provide an hours worth of help and instruction to creative a mini album with paper, stickers and the tools to help them.
A digital photo will be taken of the birthday boy or girl with their guests for their book.

Party Boards
Do you have someone graduating , are you throwing a birthday party or maybe a party just because? What about advertising your business or organization to gain new customers or members? Let us create a display board for you. Just bring in your photos, give us an idea of what you want and pick out your colors, we’ll do the rest.
Costs will vary, call or stop in for a quote.
Group Projects
If you have an organization or belong to an organization that would like to do a group project, either at the store or we can come to where you meet as a group. We can do a variety of projects, cards, mini albums or something that is of interest to your organization. Give us a call.
Wedding or Party Invitations
Are you or someone you know planning a wedding or party? Your wedding or party is a very special day and we would like your invitations to reflect that.
You can choose from our designs or bring in one of your own for us to help you with. We have beautiful handmade papers in an array of colors or we can special order the color that you want.
We also have a wedding die cut set that includes the invitation, response cards with envelopes that you can cut your own, by buying the paper from us.
Prices will vary depending on the quantity and styling. Our prices will include cutting, printing and assembly. Please stop in and set up an appointment to meet with us for your needs.
Personal Shopper
Are you new to scrap booking and/or rubber stamping?
Don’t know where to start or feel intimidated when you walk through a sea of papers and embellishments? Is shopping a chore? Let us be your personal shopper.
Here’s how it works:
-Set up an appointment with us so we can understand your style, color preferences and what your goals are. Do you want to create one album a year, one for your child(ren), a wedding, anniversary or something for the grandparents?
-We will maintain a database on your color preferences, manufacturers and your personal information.
-Are there special items or tools that you want? We can keep those on file for a registry for others.
-We are available to answer any questions in person or via phone.
Album Creation
To busy or don’t have the creativity to create your own album. Give us a call and use our personal shopper service, we can create an album to fit your tastes. Prices vary, so stop in and see us for more information.

TO CREATE I DREAM
Memories Scrap N Stamp opened in December 2004. I have often thought of owning my own business, but couldn't really put on finger on what it was. The idea came to me in the summer of 2004. I had been scrapbooking for about 2 years and knew that it was on the rise. I felt that our small community of Dodgeville could benefit by having a business of this nature. I did alot of research and wrote my business plan and then the scarey part, meeting with the bank.....
I knew going into the business and trying to work full time with three kids would not be easy, but it was a DREAM that I had to create.
I have loved every minute of doing this, the people that I have met has been fanstatic! It warms my heart when they leave with a smile and the best part is they share what they have created with me. DREAMS TO COME TRUE!
